Join artist Nadia Odlum for this free, playful workshop exploring the intersection of language and movement. Participants will create and combine words describing actions and movements, resulting in whimsical phrases that reimagine how we navigate our city.

Your creative contributions will become part of an evolving community display celebrating imaginative ways to move through urban spaces.

About Nadia Odlum

Nadia Odlum is a Sydney-based artist exploring the language and experience of urban space through diverse mediums including paintings, sculptures, public artworks, and participatory projects. Her playful works invite viewers to reflect on how we interact with our city environments, revealing urban spaces as dynamic assemblages shaped by collective experience.

Odlum has exhibited extensively across Australia and internationally, including at the Art Gallery of NSW, Carriageworks, and MANA Contemporary USA, and has created public art commissions and educational projects for numerous organizations. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney researching intersections of contemporary art and play, Odlum's practice is driven by a belief in art's potential to foster meaningful change in how we understand and engage with our urban surroundings.
